This time last year I was about 6 months postpartum, and I remember feeling so uncomfortable in my own skin. Yes, I was very proud of what my body had done (creating life, carrying a baby for 9 months, delivering the baby – all a complete miracle)! However, that didn’t change the fact that I desperately wanted to lose the weight I had gained during my pregnancy and feel confident in myself again…especially with summer just around the corner.

The thought of getting into a swimsuit had pretty much ALWAYS terrified me…until just recently. I joined my first challenge group last October, and I had no idea what to expect. I had never been in an online group where we checked in daily with our healthy meals and sweaty workout pics! But, if I had known back then that I’d be excited to go swimsuit shopping and go to the pool with my son, I would’ve started months…even YEARS before I did! What was I waiting for?!

We should all be able to feel comfortable in our own skin and our clothes. I didn’t realize how eating clean and working out for only 30 minutes a day could drastically affect how I felt about myself. This is what I have been doing for the past 7 months, and I finally feel ready to step confidently out in a swimsuit and shorts! I am sincerely not posting this to boast or brag, but to show women that you CAN change your body, mind and most importantly your SELF-CONFIDENCE.

If you are dreading this time of year, like I did for so long, NOW is the time to make a change and take a step in the right direction. Healthy meal plans, 30 minute workouts, a community of wonderful women working towards the same goals, better self-esteem – what do you have to lose, honestly?!

So, who’s ready for an amazing BIKINI BOOTCAMP?! Our group will begin Monday, June 8th and will run for 21 days…after all it takes 21 days to make or break a habit! So let’s work on creating some new, healthy ones together. Working out and getting healthy is so much more FUN with FRIENDS!!
