I can’t believe our first date was exactly 6 years ago today. Thinking back on all of the memories we’ve created makes me feel so blessed and grateful. We’ve built a wonderful life together, and I wouldn’t trade a moment of it for anything. I’ve met a lot of new friends lately, so I thought it might be fun for some of you to get to know me a little more. So here we go!

CJ and I met briefly when we were 15 years old. We never dated when we were younger, but we did reconnect 17 years later. The sparks flew, and we went on our first date two days later, got engaged 6 months after that, and got married 6 months later! (I never believed people when they said, “when you meet the right person you’ll just know.” But now I truly believe that)! He is by far the most handsome, kind, compassionate, and funny person I know. I honestly feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have snatched him up! On June 10, 2011 we were married, and it was one of the happiest days of my life.

After we were married, we started trying for a baby. Things got a little complicated when we learned that I had Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). This basically means that my hormone levels are out of whack, and it causes me not to ovulate. Thank God for modern medicine and wonderful doctors, because on November 22, 2013 we welcomed our son, Knox Frederick Nibbe, into the world. He made me a momma, and for that I am forever grateful.

Knox is now 2 years old, and he is all boy in every sense of the word! You can often find him digging around in the dirt, playing with his cars, and running around like a wild man. He keeps us on our toes and amazes us every single day.

God has decided to bless us again, because come September, our little family of 3 will become a family of 4! We recently found out we are having another little boy, and we feel so blessed. It is going to be so fun to watch Knox and his brother grow up together! Now if we could just decide on a name…

We’ve had an incredible 6 years together, and I can’t wait to see what the next 6 will bring us!
